SCOTLAND - LOCHS & OBAN & KESWICK.

Our trip to Scotland last year was such a popular trip with excellent feedback from our customers asking us to do something similar again. So we have!

Day 1: After joining your luxury tour coach we head North for our overnight stop in Blackpool at the New President Hotel.

Day 2: Today we cross the border into bonnie Scotland, travelling through the picturesque Southern and Central Scotland onwards for our stay in Oban. Your first view of Oban is one you are unlikely to forget. Spectacular views help this one of Scotland's most popular holiday destinations.

Day 3 & 4: At the leisure in Oban with included excursions:

A FULL DAY excursion to the Isles of Mull and Lona. The islands of Mull and Lona are a wilderness awaiting discovery, a heaven of peace and relaxation or simply a charming and beautiful centre for exploration away form the pressures of modern life. We travel via ferry form Oban to Craignure through a mesmerising stretch of scenery on our way to the tiny Isle of Lona, the historic place of pilgrimage.

A FULL DAY excursion full of magnificent scenery as we follow the banks of Loch Linnhe to Fort Williams, situated is the shadow of Ben Nevis. Fort Williams is the largest town in the west Highlands of Scotland and is the commercial centre of Lochaber, an area renowned for magnificent scenery. Not only does the town have the highest mountain in the UK, but also Loch Morar – the deepest loch, and it is surrounded by beautiful glens, forest and beaches.

Day 5: After breakfast we bid a fond farewell to Oban and Scotland and head off down the highway for our leisurely drive to Keswick for our stay at the Keswick Country House Hotel. As we approach take in the stunning scenery of the area, which remains unrivalled, anywhere else in England.

Day 6: A leisure to explore all that Keswick has to offer.

Day 7: After breakfast we commence our homeward journey taking in the beautiful scenery surrounding Lake Thirlemere, Grasmere and Ambleside before calling at Hawkshead for an early comfort stop and some much needed shopping therapy. After a short stop we continue our journey home with an additional comfort stop en-route arrving home locally late afternoon.
